There are important precautions that every pregnant woman should follow while performing exercise such as:

• Drink plenty of water before, during and after the workout.
• Always perform light, simple exercises only as per doctor’s advice.
• Wear a comfortable sports bra which gives support to protect breasts.
• Exercise in a temperature-controlled room.
• Avoid doing exercise outside when it is very hot or humid.
• Avoid standing still (motionless) or lying flat on the back for a longer time. Because these positions can cause complications.
